About This Tour

On this inspiring tour you will learn the story of Washington’s most trusted general in the Continental Army during the Revolution, go to the sight of America’s “first blow for freedom”, visit the home of one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence and Rhode Island’s greatest statesman, stand in the very room where we renounced our allegiance to England, explore the dwelling President John Quincy Adams called  “the most magnificent and elegant private mansion that I have ever seen on this continent”, and more!
