About This Tour

Join us for a guided tour of one of America’s most beautiful paths and Newport’s most popular attraction – The Cliff Walk! As your guide leads you on this gorgeous walk, you will learn the stories of the people whose mansions line the path and have lots of opportunities to pause, take pictures, and soak in the scenery. This will be a walk you will never forget! Smooth walking path + some limited sections with mildly challenging, rocky, uneven terrain. Please wear appropriate shoes.

Start: 117 Memorial Blvd

Heads up! This tour ends at a different location from where it begins. We recommend planning ahead for transportation back to your vehicle.

We do require a minimum of 6 total participants for the tour. These participants do not need to be from the same group, as long as there are at least 6 guests booked in total.

If you have to cancel a tour for which you have purchased tickets, you will be given the option to choose another time, another day, or another tour. You can also receive a full refund, as long as we did not have to turn other customers away because of your reservation.

 Verified Great history of Rhode Island Clearer instructions exactly where to meet. I didn't know there was a sign on the sidewalk to designate where to meet the tour. John was our tour guide. He was very informative with lots of history and personal experiences in the area. John was helpful in suggesting other areas to visit & he recommended places to eat.  Verified Far better than competition Our guide was Phil and he was excellent. Very informative and packed a lot of sightseeing and very interesting talks into the nearly two hour tour in a large air conditioned van with 23 other people. Went on a tour by a competitor (Providence East Side Sights and Stories Guided Tour) the day before and there is no comparison. This was hands down better in all respects.

We were able to see a lot of RI, learn about the history, culture and landscape while relaxing and letting someone else drive. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable.
