Day One – Ogunquit, Wells, and York

On Day One we will enjoy a behind-the-scenes experience at the famous Stonewall Kitchen, visit the most photographed lighthouse in New England, stroll among the shops of a charming Main Street, take an afternoon boat cruise, and have dinner at a legendary Maine steakhouse.

Day Two – Kennebunkport, Old Orchard Beach, Portland

On Day Two we will explore three of Maine’s most popular towns – Kennebunkport, Old Orchard Beach, and Portland. Our day will begin with breakfast at the Maine Diner and Gift Shop, where you will savor “world famous food like grandma used to make”. From there, we will take a leisurely drive along Ocean Ave in Kennebunkport, stopping at Walkers Point to take in views of the family compound of our 41st and 43rd presidents. Later, we will head to the beloved pier at Old Orchard Beach. By late afternoon, we will arrive at our hotel on splendid Commercial St on the waterfront of Portland, and once settled, you will enjoy an evening of free time in Maine’s most populous city.

Day three – Rockland Harbor Hotel

We will begin the third day of our journey at L.L. Bean, Maine’s most famous store. Then we will be on to the Maine Tasting Center where you will partake in a delightful food experience called “Flavors of Maine.” In the afternoon, we will visit the gorgeous Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and then we will end the day at a picture-perfect lobster shack in a postcard setting along Maine’s rocky coast.

Day Four – Bar Harbor, Camden, and Rockport

Day Four will be all about dazzling Bar Harbor, which was named “America’s Best Small Town” in 2024. On our way to the mosaic of natural wonders known as Acadia National Park, we will drive along the coast through the lovely towns of Rockport and Camden. By mid-morning, we will be taking a breathtaking drive through the Schoodic Peninsula, and by afternoon, we will be winding our way along the Park Loop Rd stopping at the most photogenic sights in Acadia, “the crown jewel of the north Atlantic Coast”. As evening approaches, we will be sitting on the top of magnificent Cadillac Mountain admiring commanding views in every direction. After checking into our hotel in Bar Harbor, everyone will have the opportunity to spend the evening at their leisure exploring this lovely town’s restaurants, shops, and attractions.

Day Five – Damariscotta, Kittery, and Wiscasset

On Day Five as we make our way toward home, we will stop at the stunning lighthouse featured in the movie, Forrest Gump, eat at the most famous lobster shack in the state of Maine, and shop at the unique Kittery Trading Post.
